Martin Luther King Day

See the photos of the "snow mushrooms" scattered across my lawn and the fields surrounding Hartford. I sent these shots to the local TV channel weatherman since no one has mentioned it this past week. Conditions must be just perfect to produce these large snow balls. You can see their roll paths. It seems like the fields are filled with angels making snowpeople.

It is a holiday today so I am home. Tomorrow I am not working either since I have a doctors appt. in the mid morning. I hope I am back home in time to watch the swearing in ceremony. I don't want to miss any part of this grand historical event. I am very excited and am eager to see where this change will lead us.

Don't you just love that photo of the passenger jet laying in the Hudson River with its wings lined with those 155 people waiting to be rescued.

Hope you are watching the Biggest Loser. I can't wait to see the progress of the 19 year old boy. If he can do it, anyone can. We have started '09 with a need for change on all levels of our lives here. Shedding our consumerism, our greed, our racism, our isolationism and our WEIGHT. Practically everyone I know or hear about is on a weight loss program. I see a great deal of success. We as a people need to be lighter and stronger for the years ahead. President Obama is setting a fine example with his strong athletic body image.

If you have any information on the "Snow Mushrooms" email me.
May God Bless America.
