Minus 4 this a.m. Spring is due in two weeks, hello! I have attached a couple of photos I took Sunday. They are of Pete's yard. Since then we have had 5 inches of add'l snow. The sun is bright and beautiful today though. I am going in to work mid-morning today. I plan to go to the Y for a bit of exercise and pick up some groceries before going to school.
Last night we watched the sectional finals of HS basketball that were held at ACC (Adirondack Community College). We played Argyle HS girls. We were beat out badly. It was a very rough game with the Argyle team overly aggressive. More like a football game actually. Pete's granddaughter was suffering from the flu but played anyway since it was her last game as a senior. Gloria's granddaughter Kayla who is a fine shooter and can easily make those 3 point shots was not played much. I don't understand the coaches decision. Pete and I hadn't eaten so we stopped for a sandwich on our way home. I dislike going out at night during the winter though. The vehicle is so cold and we had to walk a distance because of the crowd. My muscles just seize up. Bashey and I cuddled in bed with the electric blanket on until I was able to warm up.
I have a small bouquet of yellow daffodils on my sideboard. What cheerful sight! One important fact I noticed when I came home from FL - our air is clean and fresh, cold but we can take a deep breath without congestion.
Gotta go!
